The founder
A homecoming that became a business
C. Shivaprasad is an MBA graduate who returned to his native village with a simple aim: to build something there, and to show other young people that they could do the same.
In 2011, after losing his father, he started a small coir fibre unit with support from friends. Working with farmers and growers around him, he kept hearing the same thing: they wanted good, natural inputs that were simple to use. So the business grew from coir into compost, manures, neem products and ready-to-use soil.
Our promise is written on our logo: ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ (Your cultivation, our innovation).
Our journey
How we got here
2011
A small coir unit
C. Shivaprasad starts a coir fibre extraction and export unit in his native Ajjampura, with ₹50,000 raised with the support of friends.
2014
From coir to compost
The unit begins making organic manure using coco peat, the material left behind after coir fibre is extracted.
2015
Neem seed powder
A neem seed powder manufacturing unit is added, bringing neem-based soil care into the range.
Today
Royal CSP Garden Care
The experience of working with farmers comes to home gardeners: manures, neem products, potting soil and coir in easy, clearly labelled packs.
What we believe
Made from the things soil already loves
Our gardening philosophy
Good gardens begin with healthy soil. We make inputs from materials that have fed Indian soil for generations: compost, cow dung, neem and coconut coir.
Our product approach
A complete routine rather than a single product: soil, food, a flowering boost and root protection, designed to work together.
Helpful, honest information
Every pack prints how much to use per pot, per bed and per tree. We’d rather you use the right amount than more of it.
Rooted in farming
The business grew by working alongside farmers and growers around Ajjampura, and listening to what they needed.
Recognition
In the news
